ELLEN WARKENTINE

Ellen Warkentine once co-wrote an internet opera using cat memes called LOLPERA, the harbinger of an imaginary and contentious movement called Epic Futurism, which you can read about here. She is a ditty writer with vaudevillian tendencies. She is a melody maker who collaborates as a performer and composer with the beautiful Four Larks Theatre. She has composed and musical directed for theatre. She likes to play clarinet, piano, and sing. She sings Bjork covers with Bjorkentine and the Voltas, and sometimes plays her own songs with her very own band The Allies of WWIII. In the meantime, she teaches K-6 theatre in LAUSD and writes educational music with her educational music band Brainchildren. She plays "My Funny Valentine" over and over and over again.
